Ponquocgue Bridge & the massive Radio tower is on the left in this photo which Gives you perspective. A little farther is rampasture. To the right of the bridge is an island which the seagulls nest. The name of it is a little contested, if you ask me it's Gull island. As seagulls live there, pretty undisturbed. Which is strange- it's like people don't see this island. if you get close they will start squawking and dive bombing. The babies are visible on the beach in summer, furry cute little guys. The party island is to the right, which any Hampton Bayser has spent time on. Behind is the Coast Guard station and a strip of HB all the way to Cormorant Point. Which is located at the far right. Behind that is the entrance to the canal, what was Jackson's marina and Cowfish. Directly underneath is Oakland's restaurant. Behind is Shinnecock Inlet. Peconic bay and the North Fork are visible all the way at the top of the photo. You can even see parts of Riverhead.
