Terri Sue

This image of F/V Terri Sue was taken in late December off the coast of Southampton. I was fishing aboard the F/V EZ Ryder when a storm blew in. I was lucky enough to be able to capture the beautiful blowing snow on top of the water. We were fishing for mixed fish. Pretty much keeping whatever fish are still inshore. During the early winter months the fish move offshore. Commercial Fishing Vessels generally target squid, it is a staple of the fishing industry in the North East. the bigger boats follow the squid off shore while the smaller ones are forced to stay inshore as ocean conditions can be rough. They get out only when it is calm enough.
